Seven things on a sales order, and not one of them is a field you type into. The display name Odoo fills in itself and you quote back on the phone; action buttons that change with the state, so a missing button is information rather than a fault; a status bar that answers has this happened yet without asking a colleague; smart buttons that are counts and doors at once; tabs that group the rest rather than hide it; and the question mark beside a label, which is the field's own documentation.

Then how Odoo decides what to keep. In 16 there is no Save button to remember: leaving through the breadcrumb, a pager or a menu writes the change on the way out, and the browser's own back button is not part of that bargain. Discard undoes everything pending rather than the last field touched, and a required field left empty stops the save outright with nothing written. Saving stores values privately; confirming runs the rules and tells other people.
