Manufacturing

Optimize production processes, manage work orders, and streamline inventory with a cloud-based manufacturing solution integrated with Odoo for efficient operations.

Time-Phased Inventory Projection Professional

Get full control of the expected demand and supply events for a product with a proper projection that will let us know our inventory requirements.

Projected stock over time Professional

View expected inventory levels based on incoming and outgoing stock movements.

Demand and supply events Professional

Review the operations that will increase or decrease available stock.

Manufacturing component forecast Professional

See expected raw-material availability for upcoming manufacturing orders.

Shortage visibility Professional

Identify component shortages before they affect planned manufacturing.

Rescheduling Alerts Professional

Respect your freezing horizon and get relevant rescheduling alerts to fix potential synchronization issues in your supply chain. Instead of reviewing every order manually, planners see only the situations where action may be required — especially useful in DDMRP environments, where execution stability must be protected while still responding to changes in demand, supply availability or supplier lead times.

Detect misaligned supply orders Professional

Spot replenishment and procurement orders that no longer match current demand needs.

Anticipate timing issues Professional

Identify potential timing problems before they impact service levels.

Respect the freezing horizon Professional

Keep the defined freezing horizon intact and avoid unnecessary planning noise.

Forecast Consumption Professional

Forecast Data Professional

Use forecast data to compute requirements.

Monitor Real Orders Professional

Updated system as firm orders come in.

Smooth Transaction Professional

Shift seamlessly from forecast to real orders.

Maximize Reaction Time Professional

Use forecast to gain more time to respond.

Manufacturing Orders (MOs)

Manage manufacturing orders end to end: check their status, track progress and modify information when needed.

Order Management

Create and manage manufacturing orders, tracking progress from start to finish.

Real-time Status Updates

Monitor live status of manufacturing orders, including in-progress and completed stages.

Backorders Management

Automatically generate backorders for partially completed production runs.

Batch and Serial Number Tracking

Assign and track batch or serial numbers to ensure traceability for finished products.

Return to draft

Revert confirmed and cancelled manufacturing orders back to draft to correct information.

Bill of Materials Management

BOM Creation and Management

Define multi-level BOMs for products, including sub-assemblies and raw materials.

Variant-Specific BOMs

Configure BOMs for product variants to handle different materials or processes for variations.

Cost Analysis

Calculate production costs based on the BOM, including raw materials, labor and overhead.

Routing Integration

Link BOMs to specific routes or work centers for streamlined production planning.

Work Centers and Operations

Work Center Management

Define and manage work centers with details like capacity, efficiency and operating hours.

Operation Scheduling

Schedule and assign operations to work centers, optimizing production flow.

Performance metrics

Track work center efficiency, cycle times and overall equipment effectiveness.

Resource Allocation

Allocate workers and machines to specific tasks to ensure efficient resource use.

Demand Forecasting Professional

Use historical sales data to predict demand and adjust production accordingly.

Inventory Integration

Real-Time Inventory Updates

Tracking inventory movements of raw materials and finished goods during production.

Scrap Management

Record and track scrap materials for analysis and loss minimization.

Stock Reservations

Reserve materials for specific manufacturing orders to avoid shortages.

Warehouse Routing

Configure routes to ensure raw materials are moved to work centers and finished products to storage efficiently.

Quality control Enterprise

Quality Checks Enterprise

Set up quality checks at specific stages of production to ensure adherence to standards.

Inspection Plans Enterprise

Define inspection protocols for raw materials, in-process products and finished goods.

Non-Conformance Management Enterprise

Log and track non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions when needed.

Profitability Reports

Generate reports to analyze the profitability of specific manufacturing runs or products.

Waste and Scrap Analysis

Identify patterns in scrap or waste to improve efficiency and reduce losses.

Work Center Performance Reports

Assess the productivity and efficiency of individual work centers.

Automation and Efficiency Enterprise

Automated Procurement

Automatically trigger procurement orders for raw materials when stock levels fall below minimum thresholds.

Work Order Automation

Automatically generate and schedule work orders based on production demand.

Barcode Integration Enterprise

Use barcodes for real-time tracking of materials, operations and finished goods.

IoT Integration Enterprise

Connect with IoT devices to monitor machine performance and automate data collection.

Manufacture Accounting Professional

Track and control production costs with precision. Automatically capture direct materials, labor, and overhead as products move through the manufacturing process. Connected with real-time inventory valuation, your financial data is always aligned with operations.

Keep control of you manufacturing WIP account Professional

When a manufacturing order is completed the following entries are created:

For the consumption of raw materials:

  • Debit: Manufacturing WIP
  • Credit: Inventory (associated with raw materials)

For labor and overhead:

  • Debit: Manufacturing WIP
  • Credit: Labor / Overhead

For the production of the finished goods:

  • Debit: Inventory (associated with the finished product
  • Credit: Manufacturing WIP

As multiple manufacturing orders get completed, the "Manufacturing WIP" account can easily become crowded, and controlling the account can become unmanageable.

In this context it is important that the Manufacturing WIP account debits and credits can be connected with the individual manufacturing order that originated it, and that the debits and credits associated with the same manufacturing order can be reconciled together.
